Hi all... I've had my 2012 C63 saloon for about a year now (80K miles) and am getting it in for a service with some extras including injectors, spark plugs and rocker cover (as it's got a crack as they all seem to get!) and belt and pulleys.
So i'm looking for opinions/advise on which pulleys to have changed - I've found a 'kit' that merc sell which is Belt, Tensioner and 4 pulleys - Sytner Newcastle sell it as a kit on ebay under ZAUX1 with part numbers - A0019938396, A1372020119, A1562020819, A1562020619, A1562000570

Are there any more that I should look at changing that are being missed in this kit?
Is it overkill and should I just change the belt and then any individual pulleys that are in need of changing after looking with the belt off?

I do want to do some decent preventative maintenance so in addition to the above question is there anything else I should consider?

Thanks

Bad Title for this video , you have had your car for a year now so you are probably aware of most of what Alex says on here.

SPR do a belt kit too.

If you’re handy with the spanner’s then consider checking the valve buckets and cams for wear and replacing as necessary. If you ask a garage to do it then it won’t be cheap and you need to be prepared to continue spending on parts and labour if the check reveals something. For thy reason it’s very worthwhile but worth choosing your timing.

For a 2012 car I think your plan with injectors etc. is excellent. With regards to the pulleys - change them all. It's no extra labour over changing one. You then have peace of mind for another 50k miles. My car is 2014 with 66k miles, I checked mine first, left the car in bits and ordered the parts. However all of the pulleys needed changing, some more than others. The belt wasn't too bad and the actual tensioner was fine but I did the lot and it's perfect now.

The kit you need is a belt, tensioner and 4 pulleys.

Belt A001 993 8396 (Gates 6PK2358, 2360mm seems to be the most common size, Gates 2260mm with Autodoc, 2400mm belts from onlinecarparts.co.uk)
Tensioner A156 200 0570
Ribbed Idler Pulley A 156 202 06 19 (early models had two of these)
Smooth Pulley A 156 202 08 19 x 2 (early models had one of these)
Smooth Idler Pulley A137 202 0119
