W204 Driverside wing mirror

Hi yesterday I parked my W204 estate,2011(i don't know if its called S204) in cinema parking and when i came back someone has removed my right wing mirror glass leaving the circuit and motor exposed.
I can get the glass online for around £10 but there are 4 exposed cables left on the wing mirror holder. 2 of them should be for heating, but i don't know what the other 2 are for.

I couldn't find anything online so far, was hoping may be you experts can help.

I opened the passenger mirror side and there are only 2 cables, I am not sure what was the extra bit on the driver side.

I have attached a pic if that could help.

the cables for the indicator lights are intact and the lights function fine, also the motor moving the mirror work fine, as well as the folding action.

Any pointer could help

Could it be for auto dimming

Driver's side has auto-dimming, passenger's does not..
The auto-dimming glass is approx £300, so you can see why perhaps someone stole yours..

And they are very easy to pop out

I thought some one was doing this for the sake of doing some damage, wasn't thinking it was stolen on purpose, £300 bucks that sucks. is there a way I can identify the cables so that i can settle for heating alone
