There aren’t many about …. I’ve also been looking.
My PFL 16 plate has 30k on the clock and I’ve owned it for longer than I normally would own a car (did very low miles during Covid etc) so I am thinking of a late FL too. AutoTrader and the MB Used sites have very few saloons - which is my preference. Would you be looking at coupe or saloon?
I’m thinking I could get around the rubbish exhaust problem with a Renntech but would be interested in hearing from owners who have done this.
As for options - pan roof, Burmeister and 360 degree camera would be my must haves. Two tone leather (preferably red) would be up there too as I hate all black interiors.

I don’t mind either but would prefer saloon.

Yes that’s the issue not many around. I’ve also seen one at Hemel dealership but has too many miles for the price in comparison.

I want to get the right spec too see myself keeping it for a while

There were a few FL cars made with the full two tone seats rather than the strips. Worth looking for one if you like two tone.

I have a FL c63 and posted my comments in another thread for the renntech evm. It’s not going to solve the rubbish exhaust problem. Since the module, I’ve had backboxes modded my PCW (amazing guy). All in, there is a bit more volume and deeper sound. I can hear the car in tunnels but I doubt it’s close to a PFL. Gpf is a really good muffler and it’s one thing that needs to be removed to get the sound back. If you remove it, you’ll need to code it out and car is rendered not road legal

I have a FL c63 and posted my comments in another thread for the renntech evm. It’s not going to solve the rubbish exhaust problem. Since the module, I’ve had backboxes modded my PCW (amazing guy). All in, there is a bit more volume and deeper sound. I can hear the car in tunnels but I doubt it’s close to a PFL. Gpf is a really good muffler and it’s one thing that needs to be removed to get the sound back. If you remove it, you’ll need to code it out and car is rendered not road legal

TBF the finale edition has the same setup but different software.

I am intrigued if there is a way to get that software in the FL

The main difference I’d say is lack of volume. Opf kills it really nicely. Engine is also reluctant to downshift. You can feel that there is something restricting it. When I had it removed on my m140i, difference was quite noticeable. It’s a tough choice to make. Sound vs all the extra toys. Try test driving a fl to see if you can live with lack of sound compared to PFL?
