So I solved the tensioner cable issue in my roof yesterday and was hoping it would be ok now, sadly not.
The rear headrests were down but the light was flashing, I checked all the fuses and the 15 Amp one under the bonnet was missing (number 41 iirc) replaced that and the headrests worked but kind of racheted up and won’t go back down now.
Has anyone else had this on a W208, I’ve read a few conflicting things with some people saying it’s likely to be a relay and others saying it’s more likely the roll over hydraulic pump.
I’m guessing the only real way to know is a trip to an indy and plugging in to Star?.
Are the pumps very tricky to replace?, they’re not fortunes on eBay for one from a breakers I’m just hoping it’s not a huge job to do!.
