Hi all
Recently purchased a genu8ne ipod integration kit to fit into my w209 clk.

Wiring loom all connects fine, orange fibre optic cable moved from car look to the new loom etc. But on the dash I get a "No ipod" error. The ipod still plays through the car speakers, but the dash doesn't allow me to move through the ipod menu. I've tried 2 different w209 module boxes, and they say the same thing. I've also tried 3 different ipod connector cables and still no joy.

Could my 4th generation ipod nano not be compatible? Or do I need to get the menu activated by Mercedes?

Amy help will be appreciated.

The fact it says "No iPod" rather than something like "No input" suggests that the car is seeing an adaptor. - Have you tried it with a different iPod? I wonder if it needs to be a "full sized" version for the adaptor to control it.

I did wonder this, but I don't have another ipod to try. The fact the ipod plays through the car speakers too is a little confusing, as it stills as no ipod on the display.
