W210 E55 AMG - Some TLC - 84,600 Miles - Silver

After 10 years of ownership, I think it's time to part ways with my much-loved 210 E55. If I didn't already have another V8 Merc (R129 SL500) and other Mercs, it would certainly be staying. However, I am really keen on a 996/997 Porsche, and something has to leave the garage for that to happen.

I would love this to go to a fellow enthusiast, and I will hold off posting it on the usual platforms in the hope of this.

Mileage is at 84,600 currently but this'll slowly increase as I am making the most of the nice weather. Mileage over the years has only been minor as I don't use it during the winter because of the salt in the road and the fact that I also have a R129 and W124 (as well as other cars over the years to use during the summer months).

It has all the documentation/books (as well as an approved used Mercedes Knightsbridge sales advert for 27k in 2003) and 2 keys. Some of the paperwork includes the following:

Main Dealer until 2014
New battery 2023
Alloy wheels refurbed in 2020 - diamond lips (no kerb marks)
Oil change and filter - 11/2022
Idler Pulley, belt tensioner and belt 08/2020 (febi)
Crankshaft sensor 11/2017 (genuine part)
Brake discs and pads, link rods, wings (all from Mercedes - genuine) 11/2016
Oil change and filter - 10/2015
Bodywork - 05/2011
Major service - 03/2006
Service A - 11/2003
(I changed the automatic fluid around 5/6 years ago but have misplaced the Mercedes receipt with all the service items)

Regarding the cons/TLC (trying to be completely honest to avoid any disappointment), they are as follows:

All doors have rust (rear driverside being the worst) - I was going to replace them with rust-free doors all round at some point. They aren't crumbling away, but if you peel back the rubber, you can see the rust - it's been this way for at least 6/7 years and never bothered me, really, but it's on the list of things to do.
Both rear window regulators are broke (being forced shut with some packers) - I was going to wait until I had second hand doors but if you wanted to fix ASAP - you can buy new on ebay for £20 each.
The bootlid shows some signs of rust around the keyhole and bottom
Minor bubble on the rear arch
The previous owner has marked the surround around the radio
CD player has been removed as it was causing a battery drain in 2023
Needs tracking done as it seems to drive to the left a bit
Tyres are old and budgets (I bought this car when I just finished Uni!) - Also, where it has been sitting in the garage over the years, the flat spots cause some vibration around 50-60mph but no other speed - So could do with some nice premium tyres.

I will be gutted when this car goes, but realistically - It isn't getting the attention it deserves. Engine and gearbox are perfect and everytime I drive it, it puts a smile on my face.

The market for these seems to be all over the place, but I am after £8,500. If the above were sorted, I would probably be asking for £10K.
