W210 electrical faults

My 1996 W210 E300D non turbo with 268,000mls has started to give intermittant electrical problems. ABS and ESR lights randomly come on, the radio crackles when brake lamps are on, outside temp sensor has got lower and lower, now reads -38C constantly. The alarm and immobiliser have a mind of thier own with the car cutting out with no warning, locking and unlocking usually resets everything but not always, then a battery off reset is needed.
Any ideas guys?

Fixed the alarm and immobiliser fault by replacing the batteries in the key fobs and disconnecting the car battery for 30 seconds.
One down and lots to go.
