Pretty cheesed off today and have decided to junk the Sony Double Din that I installed as

: The fit is out
: The unit I suspect is faulty and sound from one side comes and goes
: TomTom - the whole reason for buying it does not have HD Live traffic so I'm still using the phone for satnav
: I'm missing my steering wheel controls.
: It looks crap and unoriginal.

So I'm thinking of going back to Comand DX (don't care about sat nav - I'll use the phone), and fitting either a Bury, Parrot or IO Play that will handle voice and bluetooth muisic.

The IO Play 2 seems to have a significantly better amp than the other 2, but I wonder if anyone has ever tried one? Also any idea if they will hook up into the Canbus for the steering wheel controls?

Cheers me dears....

David

Hi,

I have bought a IO Play 2 a few days ago, but at the moment I'm on a ski resort untill 18 of February. I have the old IO Talk 1 for more than 3 years now and I'm very satisfied but now want an upgrade :) If you can wait one more week I plan to upgrade my IO so I can share opinion.

I'm driving a CLK W208 year 2001 with Becker 4715 with SatNav, D2B optical connected CD Changer etc.

Well I've fitted one today. No pics until I err get hold of the button that popped off to some nether-region that I have not identified as yet.

Sound is superb, better than the Parrot. Please. As. Punch.
