W210 rear subframes

Can anyone confirm if all W210 rear subframes are the same i.e. a 240 compared to an E55?

I know springs and shocks will be different but I need to know if the basics are the same please.

The E55 may have a heavy duty/larger differential-whether this is accomodated by different/extra diff mounts or subframe brackets don't know-sorry. visual comparison or part nos required I guess?

Thanks, trouble is when you contact mb parts they need a Reg from a car to be able to give a part number. I’ll have to look out for a 210 somewhere to give them that Reg for a comparison. Cheers.

I am due to change the front, and rear subframes, in my 1996 230E, as they have corroded.

I am fortunate to have a parts car, a 280E from South Africa.

I am looking to have the subframes galvanised, and waxoyled as preventative maintenance (prior to installation).

Has anyone else galvanised their components as such?
