W211 avantgarde v sport ?

Guys after some clarification ,in w211 whats the differences between the avantgarde and the sport model ?
In the price guild it says the sport has 18inch alloys and lower harder suspension etc
But is that all ?
I was looking at a 09 plate e320 cdi avantgarde in a garage and it didn't have the big looking front brakes like my 2008 58 plate e320 cdi sport has ?
Is the sport just and avantgarde with a few more sporty bits etc ?

In my mother 06 C-class it says avantgrade on the wing but its a sport model

In a nutshell yes!

You don't usually see the word 'sport' anywhere on the bodywork. They usually have 18" staggered wheels, stiffer and slightly lower suspension along with fancy brakes.

Yes, just a tarted up Avangarde! Firmer sports suspension, Larger front discs & pads (drilled discs), flappy paddles, sports pedals, 18" alloys (245 front, 265 rear), sports seat stitching, twin chrome tailpipes. That's about it really!

Nice though.

It's worth it for the wheels and tail pipes alone.

I also think that he sport model has more aggressive looking side skirts, front bumper and rear valance. I recently enquired about fitting my E320 Cdi sport with moulded mud flaps, but couldn't because they will not fit cars with the sport option.

Sports seats too, more hugging sides compared to my old Avantgarde....
