For sale our 2009 E280 Sport, we have owned the car since December 2021 and she has provided us with effortless motoring since then. The car is on a private plate which will revert back to its original HN58ZHO and has covered just over 100,000 miles. The car has 3 previous keepers, the first two being husband and wife and then a lady who bought it from the garage that supplied it to us and kept it for 4 days deciding it wasn't what she wanted despite previously owning a W210 estate (go figure).
The car has an extensive history file including the original purchase invoice and it was fitted with a tuning box by Mercedes so instead of 187bhp with have around 230bhp, the installation invoice/receipt by Mercedes is included with the paperwork so it is classed as std by insurers. I think baring the original first service at Mercedes I have all the service records, i'm sure that could be obtained if it were important to the new owner.
Being the last model year of the W211 range it has uprated sat nav and sport spec including drilled front discs, 18" wheels, Bluetooth and ipod/wireless aux connectivity and much more.
5 seat, black "leather" interior and it has ISOfix mountings.
MOT until 28th September
During our ownership beyond servicing 3 times we have had the following done:
2 new OE front springs
New alternator
4 michelin cross climate tyres
2 MB OE engine mounts and a new MB OE gearbox mount
New brake pads front and rear
She remains in my view the prettiest modern MB estate, finished in silver and as you can see from the photos she cleans up well. There are two items to note in that the front passenger door skin has been creased by a parking motorist, I simply haven't had the time to buy a replacement door for £90 and swap over the fittings and the drivers seat has a split in the "leather".
The car has been replaced by a ML and I hope it will go to someone who will appreciate her.
