I'm getting very bad vibration when I start the car. When I start it start to vibrate, when putting on R the vibration gets even bigger. I've replace the gearbox mount and no difference at all. When I start driving in straight line and about after 100,200 meters the vibration is gone. Than just first few corners you could feel small vibration and strange feeling when turning. Gearbox oil not enough oil at start? Diff? I would assume if there will be something "damage" this would occurre all the time but it looks only when cold. Any ideas?

What age car , what mileage , when was your last gearbox atf and filter change buddy ?

Vibration when cold that improves, could be an injector.
I would be looking for evidence that the engine mounts are shot 1st though.

But vibration only when you start the car and put put in R holding the brake

07,160k gearbox service was done by MB around 3,4 years ago

Presuming it's a 2007 W211, with 160k on the clock.
Last service done 3 or 4 years ago? so could be certainly due now another ATF. If it was done at Mercedes, that could have meant only a partial fluid change depending on whether they did the torque converter or opted for the easy route only via the sump pan.

It's a shame the OP wasn't a bit more transparent with the response, as it leaves us having to make some guesses that whilst probably reasonably, doesn't encourage people to freely give their time if they're not exactly sure what they're dealing with 🤷‍♂️

I would say engine mounts need replacing.

Now I see what he did with the numbers

I belive its the engine mounts. The driver side looks ok but the passenger side woooo that engine tries to fly out from the bay.

If that’s 70,160 , you are due another one almost now , the one before done at 35,000 ?
I thought you do it between 60-80k. It had the gearbox done twice already so looking at the mileage next one should be in around 180-190k. I will do it of course like always but I will start with mounts as one is definitely gone....

It’s every 40k buddy , and yes getting new engine mounts should make a big difference

Both engine mounts replaced. Big difference... Car starts smoother, engine runs much quieter. Happy days
