w211 E500

Sonny, YOU and you only consider yourself a diehard fan buddy, everybody I know here is open about cars and most members on this forum has had or have a BMW or other make. I think one of the admins on here has a BMW 330Ci? what do you say about that?

Also I believe Steve (***) had a BMW X5?:D

No offence but to this day I'll take an E46 or an E92 M3 over any 500, M3 is a better car all round and I think has the best seats I've ever sat on, So comfy!!

fair enough you ONLY like MB and I respect that but you have to respect other peoples opinion buddy and not slat them just because they like to try out different cars etc...:)

I wouldn't rule out after the C55 I might buy the new V8 M3 with the DCT, they are growing on me every time... ;)

Unlike you I do apprciate a good car when I see one and I don't really care if people think it's a chavvy or whatever, I buy a car for me not for other people.:thumb:

Josef,

Not 1 X5. Two of them :D I thought they were babe magnets, until I got the merc lol

Confirmed my theory that sometimes less is more. The 3.0i was a nicer car than the 4.4i. More willing engine, nicer sound (I6 is nicer than V8) smooth and torquey and made its peak torque lower down.

Parts of the BMWs appeal, for me, the 335d I would have, and maybe the F10 535d. The E60 and E70 x5 lost their way.

Where I would agree with Sonny, and its not a BMW/MB thing is I'd rather have a e500 over an M3, just like them 211's. In the same way I'd have a 335d over a M3. I'd rather have an E60 over an M3, or a 911. Gosh I'd like a Porsche. However, for weekend kicks, a Caterham would be my bag, or an Atom, Xbow. Something go kart like.

what planet?

Are we all living on the same planet? How many chavs do you see driving m3's mate? maybe a cheap e36 one yeah but never a newer one or e46 and e30 mate, chavs drive saxo's and corsa's with loud exhausts, makes me laugh, i have owned loads of mercs, you do get bored every so often in the same car hence people change and maybe come back to the original, chavs haha ;)
