Really liking the idea of the vossen cv3 in graphite, when pricing them up it’s recommending 8.5j x19 front and 10j x19 rear. Would I have any issues with clearance or scuffing arches etc? Anyone got 10s on the rear? It isn’t lowered at all.

I think you'd get away with 10j on the rears Benji. I know of a CLS55 that had 20x10j on the rears with no rubbing. He used 305x25 tyres too

I can only imagine you’d have to buy the fully wheel and then try and swap the inner with another outer rim (if that makes sense?)

Yh that was my first thought, my second is that’s just grief lol, would rather buy the alloy as one piece instead of chopping and changing

Albeit a CLS and not the E, I ran 10.5j on the rears with no issues.i had a 10mm spacer on the rear too IIRC as the aftermarket wheel ET was 30.

I do really want to do the E63 front bumper conversion but I’ve heard it’s very costly and not just a bumper swap?

Not really, Gav did one for his friends w211 a while ago. (Non-genuine though) It’s £299 and it comes painted in the colour you choose, then you just need a grill (£50 on eBay) and then he had to glue the parking sensors into place as the bracket was difference.

Also apparently you need to change the inner bumper plastic moulding, but I think Gav said they just modified the old one slightly and got it to fit!

I thought about it but not sure how much longer I'll be keeping the E55 Abs.
If I sell next year as is the intention then its not worth the outlay. I won't get it back thats for sure.
