My 2003 E55 has been diagnosed with a failed Antenna amplifier. The continuity of the wires from the SAM to the amplifier have been confirmed. Therefore I have a few questions
1) What is the part number for this item? As I intend to try and find a replacement on the bay of plenty.(I was quoted a replacement cost of £500
)
2) Which C pillar is the amplifier behind, Offside or Nearside?
3) Has anyone got a photo of the unit?
and finally
4) How do I get the c pillar cover off? Does this involve removing the back seat? Seat backs? Parcel shelf? etc. A blow by blow step sequence would be most appreciated.
