Getting together some parts for my next service in January and uncertain on which plugs are recommended. Its between NGK ILFR6A plugs or Bosch Double Platinum.

I'm leaning toward the more expensive NGK's at £106 with discount for 16 plugs.

Any recommendations?

Decent deal you found, I will be looking to replace mine next service time. Will look at the two types you mentioned.

Cheers Tom

Here is a link to the NGK ones although they will be at the advertised price unfortunately. I looked long and hard but found none cheaper for the 16 I needed.

These are the cheapest Bosch brand I found at the time.
16x Bosch Super Plus Spark Plug (+45) for Mercedes Benz E55 5.4 (08/02-08/06) | eBay

NGK is what I’d have gone for too Rog. Good price too.

Bog standard Bosch in mine. Will be changing to step colder NGK plugs in a couple thousand miles.

I may still have 4x LFR7AIX NGK plugs you can have for £15. Bought for my previous CLS55 but never fitted them. Obviously you’d need another 12.....

Superb service from Germany. Ordered 2pm Thursday, delivered by DHL at 8am this morning.
Just waiting for the oil from MB Newcastle now that is due Tuesday.

Rog, I assume you got the £49.99 deal for 10l of oil and the oil filter/sump washer?

^ It's 5w/40 fully synthetic 229.5 from MB-Newcastle.
Got 20% off on a one day deal but at a normal price of £54 is still cheap.

I'll send you a link if you want

Hi Roger

Roger how were the plugs, ok? @AMGeed

Anyone any recent supplier experiences on M113K plugs?

The link above for the NGK ones isn't there now.

Recently fitted MB ones, no problems here :)

What was part number and cost?
I did a quick search on the part number I had but didn't find any of the usual ebay dealers selling.
