hi,

I have a 12.2007 w211 E200 CDI with a manual transmission and always when I want to start the car I have to hold the key in 3rd position of the ignition in order to start the engine. On the internet and in real life I saw that there is a possibility to start the car with only one click on the 3rd position of the ignition and then let off (the cars I did see were all 5g tronics). Is this a thing only for cars with AT and not for MT? I do have Xentry and I was looking for the specific coding but I cannot find anything.

Thank you for your time!

Yes turn the key until the lights come on , watch the glow plug light and when this goes out turn to position 3 and release the key , the car then begins the start process itself .
Don’t hold the key until it starts .

As posted by W1ghty.

I presume your Xentry is a cloned copy?
