W211 Potential bargain or moneypit?

Doesn't look appealing to me. A seller should rectify those issues before listing for sale.

Also with the absence of the last service it would be quite easy to clock.

Push this to one side and keep looking IMHO

Dont think its airmatic... could be SLS in which case it could well be a cheap fix.

I dont particularly think its very cheap give its a private sale.. Im sure you could buy a sorted car from a dealer for maybe £1500 more.

I would question the Private Sale....looks more like Trade judging by his feedback.

I suspect he's just found out how much its going to cost to fix the suspension, has had a heart attack and loaded it up onto e-bay to get rid

It may need some bellows and possible an air compressor. It has airmatic DC

All best off from my end... Espace buyers harder to come by than initially expected...

Cheapest 2007 model on Autotrader, Ebay etc. and no bites. Other than the one I tossed back for £250. Oops.

Unspectacular.

Mine is 2004, same car in essence.

Bought mine in Summer 09, same faults (seller was honest with me) 1x sensor, and 2x shocks later - car as it should be.

Cost £7,500.

The shocks gone make for a fairground ride of a car!

If it has airmatic, it may be a different kettle of..

He's a scrapyard or car breaker. Look at his Other Items where he's breaking over 50 cars & selling unrecorded accident damaged cars.

Caveat emptor in spades on this one!

Not having an oil change for 33,000 miles would put me off (and that is assuming it is not clocked) personally. Not sure of the long term potential for serious damage for the sake of a < £100 job but it can't do the engine any good.

Yea it has airmatic , i can see the lights on the buttons in one of the pics . I could need bellows , or shocks . These can be pricy . my car had the rear shocks replaced by the last owner , cost him over €750 .

I don't think it's especially cheap, he is almost certainly trade and I suspect he bought it from auction not knowing much about it, drove it home realised it has a suspension problem and googles the symptons and has presumed the worse.

I doubt it's been near a garage to find out what it needs it may be something cheap or it may be something terrible. If it was an auction with no reserve I would bid on it but I'm sure I would not win the auction as someone would be willing to pay more.
