W212 Analog Clock Stopped Working

Hi there,

I have a 2014 W212 E Class with the Analog Clock.

It has stopped working at it stuck at 12:00.

I’ve tried within the command to change the time etc nothing happens.

Does anyone have an idea could the clock be broken itself? Or could it be wiring or any other ideas?

Yes without any issues. I’m not sure if it’s software related or if the clock is broken

I’ve got a similar problem - on my CLK 240 convertible, the clock ihas stopped at mid-day (00.00 on the digital clock in the settings menu). I can change the time on the digital clock, but as soon as I press the reset button, the time on the digital clock reverts to 00.00, and the clock returns to midnight, so the digital clock doesn’t seem to be holding the time. Any thoughts, please?

On my W212 there is an analogue clock and a digital display. Are they both stuck at 12 on yours or just the analogue?

I ended up going on eBay and buying a new analoge clock for £50 fitted it myself and everything works perfectly I can only assume as in your case it either needs a system update (software) or the clock is faulty.

It was the anaglogue clock that was stuck and didn’t move ended up buying a replacement and fitted it working perfectly now

Hi. I can change the time on the digital display, but as soon as I press the reset button, the time changes back to 00.00, the analogue clock hands move and then return to the midday (or midnight) position. So, it appears I can alter the time, it’s just not holding it.
