My daughter forget to press the boot close button and yanked it down - it made a nose like a ratchet protesting so she stopped before it got too far.

Now it closes using the button but it leaves a gap like it needs a reset - anyone know if there is a way of resetting it like you can do with electric windows?

I can’t help , but do you have Mobilio ?
Steve at Avantgarde Mercedes specialists , Clevedon near Bristol may be able to help if you don’t want to go the MB route .

Sorry I thought I had replied to this - great idea, called Mobilo and they sent the RAC who were here within 30 minutes and adjusted it - not perfect but much better now. Thanks for your help :).

I will check out the Clevedon place for future reference as my father in law lives there so I'm down there quite often.

If the need arises where you need Mobilo - when you call, tell them and they will ensure you get Mobilio rather than RAC. Mobilo car more parts that fits common faults than the RAC and I guess Mobilo tech are just dealing with MB's.

Ah nice one thanks, I didn't know that.
