My easy entry setting doesn’t seem to work. I have enabled it and seen the steering wheel highlights in the settings but nothing happens when I get in or turn off the car. I thought maybe it was something really subtle that only happens when your steering wheel is in a certain position but my son has just bought a 220d coupe and his moves back when you turn it off.
my questions are these,

1. Am I missing something??

2. I know wiring issues are not part of the warranty so could it be a problem that I may have to fork out for??

It’s a ‘17 plate bought used approved less than 3 weeks ago.

It only works if tour seating position is quite far forward, I’m 5’8” and mine is set to on but it doesn’t move or the steering wheel because I sit quite far back. It works on a percentage system.

Moved the seat forward and the steering wheel back and still no joy. I’ve played with various positions to no avail. It’s weird that the steering wheel in the settings shows yellow to confirm it’s set. I would have thought if there was a fault with it there would be some kind of indication.

Set the steering will to the lowest height position, the switch the ignition off, and see if it rises to the top height position.

Thanks for that. Works as you stated it should. I thought the steering wheel would slide back from the driver toward the dashboard. Not sure why they didn’t go with that. I’m sure Jaguar do.

I think it would only do that if the steering wheel is at the furthest position from the dashboard. Set it to the furthest position from dashboard, and see if it goes back also.

Have just checked mine the steering wheel doesn't go back on easy entry, just up, so I guess that's how it's supposed to work.
