Hummm looks like I'm gonna have to have some remedial work carried out.

Over the past few day the front left of the car (n/s front), lowers lifting the rear (o/s rear) driver side up.

So far I've checked for fluid leaks, under the car and on the strut and there is no ABC warning signs coming up. When listening close to the front wheel I can hear some type of fluid noise but that just maybe me hearing things which is the norm.

The fluid level is fine and the ABC filter was replaced on its last major service.

As I start the engine the front returns to normal height and the lift cycle operates smoothly with no hesitation lifting the car up and down in sync.

I'm gonna get it checked on Tuesday by an Indy to see if anything comes up on Star.

Any other knowledge or experiences of possible causes or similar issues would be much appreciated....

Mine does the same.

Could be the non return valve in the valve block has some crud in it and seeping past.

Be interesting what the Star says.

If you go the new valve block route, I'll take your old valve block if you're interested as I'm doing some research on them at mo.

Had a chance to get it checked on Star, and no fault codes at all. We did a pressure test and no loss either. On a quick inspection whilst shining a light into the n/s corner there is evidence of green fluid. Not sure if this was from a previous repair as it was noted the front 2 struts are brand new.

As time was limited and not costing me, next stage is to get the car back in so we can take a look behind the wheel arch where the valve block and accumulator is.

He personally thinks it may just be a hose leak or the accumulator as the car rises and lowers perfectly.

Will keep you updated.

Might not be the accumulator as they sometimes blow the nitrogen charge and fluid comes out of the filler cap (messy).

Also the front and rear accumulator is common to both struts and wouldn't lower just one side.

Same as M2287 valve block.

Nice to have 2 new shocks already :)

Keep us posted. Any ABC info is always welcome :)

If possible, for my research can you confirm which valve block your 2006 has?

Using this photo, it shows new valve starting 2009, but have heard reports some start earlier.

Mine has been installed with the valve block on the left. Managed to get the car up on the ramp for further inspection and bone dry.... So I'm going to replace the valve block to the newer model and at the same time replace the accumulator. Whilst I'm doing this... Is there anything else I should consider replacing whilst this area, is in bits....?

Also found that I'll need to replace the valve cover gasket as there are signs of a oil leak. At the same time I'm going to get the transmission oil and coolant changed.

So all in all some work to be done...... Will report on any further updates

You shouldn't need to replace it, just use one of the DIY guides and rebuild it, save a fortune!

I would also fit a new 3 micron ABC filter and also a Magnefine Magnetic Filter in the ABC return line just before the filter housing. I am soon to flush and fit this on mine in next few weeks...

I've just ordered the new 3 Micron filter and 10 liters of Pentosin Fluid. Let me know whats required when you've completed yours. Also will keep you updated on the old valve block.
