W216 distroinc sensor

Curious to know if any one has had a distronic sensor fitted on there cl w216

And if so at what cost many thanks reiss

It wasn't on a CL but I had it on my A8 and I hate it
Car slows down when the car in front slows down. Problem I was facing and was kinda annoying - as soon as some one jumped out car heavily brakes. Made my heart nearly jumped out of my chest. My personal experience, would rather avoid car with that feature
I believe retro fit would be complicated. On a A8 clocks needed to be changed too
Hopefully some one else can share some light on retro fitting ..... don't do it normal cruise is just fine

Sorry I mean I've got it. But it's faulty and garage are being a pain! Curious to know how much it is to replace

Hi,
The replacement sensor alone I suspect will be over £1k, fitting is relatively simple but will need to be specially aligned which can/is expensive and very few if any Independent garages have the specialised equipment.
You could get a second hand item from e-bay to save some money, fit it yourself and just pay for the alignment.
