The time has come to sell my W219 CLS350 CDI Grand Edition.
It’s a 100% solid car and has been a joy to own and drive for six years.
I’m only selling because I now need an Estate car.
V6 3L Dieso / Seven Speed Auto, First Reg 31.12.2009.
95k - FSH (MB & Merc Independent) and MOT Dec 2025.
No car park dings / dents / leather all good / FSH - a looked after example.
My ‘Independent’ is ex MB and fastidious - genuine MB parts only.
Late W219 so wrinkles sorted and Grand Edition extras (see below detail from internet).
The MB fitted Grand Edition (BRABUS) chip is seamless- pulls like a train / better MPG.
I will advertise it elsewhere - but thought I’d try here first.
It’s too nice to trade in; hoping to find a fellow enthusiast.
I’m looking for £4,750k.
Grand Edition + Nappa leather-trimmed three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and gear shift lever, special floor mats, 18-inch Staggered AMG alloy wheels, front 245/40 and rear 275/35, xenon headlights with headlamp wash, cornering light, Active Light System and dark headlamp casing, front grille louvres in Palladium Silver matt finish and the performance upgrade to 272bhp and 590Nm torque.
1.) A Glow Plug light flickered last week (I’d suggest replacing at next service).
All six have been replaced (over time); so this is replacing a replacement.
Most recently, I had both GP#2 & #3 replaced (using MB parts) for less than £80 inclusive.
2.) If I was keeping the car I’d freshen up the wheel lacquer in the Spring.
This is a maintenance thing with lacquered wheels like this - starting to show some corrosion.
That said, the rims are very good / not curbed and don’t need any recutting.
PM me if interested.
