W221 s320 cdi

Hi guys,

I bought this car three months ago and I am getting a slight jerk/misfire at 40mph+ up to about 80mph

So far i've had the following done

EGR
Turbo Pressure regulator
DPF sensor
Crankcase breather
Gearbox sotware update
Inlet manifold cleaned
new inlet flap motor

This alleviated the issue for a few hundred miles but it appears the issue has re-appeared

Can anyone else think of what could be wrong? Star Machine pointed to all of the above hence got these things changed.

It could be the stepper motor on the turbo actuator slipping. Its quite a common problem.

I take it this has been replaced according to your list. (turbo pressure regulator)

There is also an EGR pipe that soots up that can cause strange engine behaviour. Its the steel one on the front of the engine.

I would be going up the road with a Star connected to look at the live data when the fault occurs.

I've not been informed or the EGR at the front of the engine. I cained it from standstill and I saw a cloud if white smoke. Since then it's not misbehaved. Could change with a few more miles however

Mine was jerking, seemed even like cutting, turbo was wasted
