I bought this type of rims:
Specifications:
Size: 20x8.5 Front / 20x9.5 Rear
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
Finish:Forged gun powder Face
Offset: 35 Front / 35 Rear
Hubcentric: 66.6

Original AMG says that these tyres must go front 255/35R20 rear 275/30R20 but i want to know can i put wider tyres without any rubbing or speedo/ESP problems?

AMG wheels will have a staggered offset , yours are the same all the way round .

Correct
Make sure wheels have speed sensor

Wrong....S class have staggered fittment

Just checked , you are right. Sorry.

Offset should be 43 anyway , i wonder if you will get rubbing with wheels that sit 8mm further in ?

Oops , double post.

8mm further out. Should clear fine, the 221 has HUUUUge arches that can easily accomodate 22"x10J rims front and rear.

The standard size is 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear not 275/30/20. It's one of the quite unusual cars which has larger rear tyres than front.

Some of the guys in the states are running 285/30/20 on the back without problems.

The 221 can run with staggered or same width front and rear. On some staggered rim set-ups there is also larger diameter rears like the 275/35/20.

On mine I ran:
Kahn 21x 10.5 ET35 RSX Diamond Edition rear wheels fitted with 285/30/21 rear tyres
Kahn 20 x 9 ET 35 RSX Diamond Edition front wheels fitted with 255/35/20

No Issues with ESP or touching the arches. The car was also lowered by 30mm

My S65 runs 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear and the offsets are different front to rear.

Previously I ran 245/35/21 front and 285/30/21 rear with Brabus wheels.

The 21's make the car feel a bit over tyred but nothing serious.
