Wanted!! C43 amg gearbox

New project started I'm in need of a C43 Amg gearbox and torque converter

Any help please

As far as I know it won't be easy to get but back in 1998 Mercedes used the s600 v12 gearbox in the c43

I read this on the net somewhere too, but according to the EPC the C43 Gearbox pt. no. was only fitted to the C43, others will fit as it is just a 5 speed auto box but whether other gearboxes will work with the electronics of the 43 stand the power/torque of the engine, I do not know, and the ratios will be wrong.

I am sending it to a gearbox specialist in the morning and more likely it's going to be a recon!

I would have preferred replacing it

I have a C43 Gearbox and Torque convertor For Sale. It drove perfect apart from sometimes in the morning ONLY it would not drive off in Drive after reversing off of the driveway.
Then for the rest of the day it was fine.
Maybe a easy fix, don't know.

£200 for both

Quick update, Iv been told that my gearbox is beyond repair, can't even be reconditioned, so I need to get a replacement.

So I'm really stuck, if any one on here knows where I could get a 722.631 code gearbox please let me know,

Or even if someone that could advise me of any other model gearbox that will fit my car, thanks guys
