As above. Mine got nicked. It's just for my weekend truck. But needs to have a mount and cable if possible please. The bigger the better.

Have you tried using google maps on your phone?

If not try it, no need for a stand alone nav unit.

I have Navimii on my iphone but do not posses binoculars with a large enough zoom to enable me to view the screen when in motion.

Motodrb: How much would you like for the TT please?

Bruce. I've been meaning to treat myself to a new Garmin for some time now. This is the inspiration I needed.

There's a TomTom 730Go up for grabs here complete with mount, leads and USB dock. UK and Europe maps but not updated for a couple of years.

PM me your addy.

Gents. Thank you all for your help and offers here. Most kind.

I took Derek up on his brilliant offer and one day later Derek's TomTom is now mounted in my Pajero. I don't think you can get better than that. Thank you Derek (DRUK)

I had my Tom Tom nicked last month out of the van, bought a Garmin from Halfords, think it was £70.00 and I'd say its much better than the Tom Tom.

I am surprised people are still stealing satnavs as they are so cheap now.

My neighbour had his stolen last week when the car was on his driveway late afternoon.

The police reckon all the Christmas thieves are coming out the woodwork thanks to reduced daylight hours.

There are some who walk among us, that would steal anything just because they can. That was the case here. I know who took it! but to ask for it back gives me the frustration of hearing them deny that they took it, when we both know that they have taken it. Then we have to have the debate and the subsequent invention of a story as they finally admit that they have found it.

Sad but true.

A friend is a Magistrate. He can keep me amazed through 18 holes of gold with true stories of what people steel to feed there habits. Joints of meat from the local supermarket at the current favourite. Sold down the pub in minutes, they will fund a fix.
