Wanted Turbo OM602 2497cc diesel engine. preferably with automatic box, complete vehicle considered.

... preferably with automatic box but OK without, complete vehicle considered. Due to road tax levels it must be a 2.5, not 2.7 or 2.9. I know these are uncommon! Failing that can a standard W201 OM602 be 'turbo'd' safely?

Do you have this engine in a vehicle? If so can it not be repaired?

What is the RFL for this and the other engines? RFL is not that big a cost in running a vehicle compared to other costs.

Hello, The non-turbo engine I have is OK for it's age but it underpowered in a MWB Sprinter, creeping up local hills at 22mph seems to irk some drivers.. so looking for just a wee bit more. For me on £250 monthly pension the extra RFL makes a huge difference, that's why I mainly live in the van!
