Wanted W201 or W124

I've posted the same ad in April, however I am still looking for the right car. Could you help?

I am looking for a well looked after W201 or W124.
First choice is low mileage W201 2.0L auto in Light Metallic Blue (DB356) I am just sucker for old school Mercedes

However I will not pass by a good W124 saloon in dark blue. I will even consider estate. I am open to any colors but obviously Blue is my first choice.

Extensive service history is essential. Mercedes crazy owner is a must

I am in Edinburgh but willing to travel for the right car.
Come on chaps, you have one or you know someone that own one.

A colleague (and fellow Mercedes-Benz Club member) has a W201 2.0 manual in truly lovely condition that he may be selling soon. He took me for a drive in it last week and it is very good indeed - and I've owned (and still drive) 190Es myself. It's in metallic anthracite (mid-grey) with the cleanest beige check cloth interior I've seen in a long time. Has had lots of love and attention and money spent. He's near York. If interested, as you don't have sufficient posts for me to PM, send your details to me at [email protected] and I'll pass them on. Then it's between the two of you.

If that doesn't float your boat, another fellow Mercedes-Benz Club member in Warrington has a low mileage W201 2.6 auto in silver with a black leather interior. Also a particularly nice car which I've seen recently. Well worth following up. e-mail me for details.

Please only do this if you're serious. I hate messing people about and both sellers are good people.

small world. well i did buy my green estate from Charles Ironside (flew down to hampshire, and drove it back), but I love it too much and the front wings need replacing now to bring it back to scratch, plus some other bits and bobs, all on my "todo" list.
