I know they were available, there was a 300te 3.4 AMG.

Except the v8 quad cam HAMMER, if you had £100k in 1986 it was available.

I was refering to production cars really

The AMG 300E 3.4 isn't a production car either though...it's an after-the-event upgrade from AMG.

That's the first tidy and nice 3.4 i have seen....usually they are all so messy and tired.

I've seen a couple of RHD 3.4 estates & saloons. Specs vary depending on what was ordered

I would think that all the 3.4s were built in Germany whereas quite a few of the AMG cars without engine mods were modified in the UK by MB dealers with parts supplied by AMG
