Having dealt with the filling up off pollen filter housing, that flowed down into battery (thanks for info from site) I checked battery box drain and flowing ok, although I still find it odd MB did not cure ingress of water but put a fix in to deal with it ? but since I removed rubber on pollen box no more water in battery box for 2 weeks.
Have checked all washer pipes all intact and not leaking so far.
Now I have rear tailgate working fixed and adjusted lock, put a few bits of paper in-between tailgate and rubber to see I could pull out all seams ok.
Im aware there is ingress from tail gate handle failed foam seal bit of RTV I think will sort that.
Pulled out spare wheel, car has not moved for 2 weeks, not puddles of water but carpet def damp. I did notice a bit of condensation on inside of O/S rear light, is this yet another area that is commonly known to let water into trunk? is it worth replacing seals or just more RTV.
Ive read a bit on vents behind bumpers and grommets in spare wheel well.
Bloody car is like a sieve
When I have the sealer out any other areas I should look at
Thanks
