water pooling !!

Not sure if this a design fault but whenever it rains or you wash the car both sides just inside the boot area the water pools in the tray area behind the tubing !! cant see a sensible solution to it !! anyone else have the same problem ?

Yes, same issue. Solved through judicious use of a sponge once wash is done. MB don’t do premium car design as well as otherS. This one really is Janet and John level......

A small proportion does yes, but because that area is a leaf magnet around the hinges most of the water is held eventually becoming a damp and wet mulch.

Don’t get me wrong, this is my first Mercedes and I am enjoying it immensely. Little things like this though are very irritating because you don’t expect them on a Mercedes.

you would have thought they would have designed the area with a channel that lets the water run away . however one thought came to mind infill the area with a hard black plastic shaped piece perhaps ?
