WD-40 Did you know?

Keeps flies off cows and horses!! Lol

What a sight that would be... Seeing people hosing down their farm animals with WD-40 :D

Using it as a contraceptive seems even more bizzare...but useful... ;)

Good old fish oil.

Yes I did know what WD-40 stood for... ;)

'43. If you spray it inside a wet distributor cap,
it will displace the moisture, allowing the
engine to start.'

Indeed, I used to do that... in the seventies...

Be hard pressed to find a distributor cap now!! :-)

there was a lad at a local factory that used to liberally spray any machinery with it to stop squeeks and make it run better until he sprayed the autoweld machine when it was running, there was a lovelly sheet of flame over it for a few seconds,he was a bit more careful after that

Loads of uses "a hammer in a tin".

7 and 8 are in the wrong order ;).

Back in the 1970s I worked in a fish processing plant , everything was wet with running water and condensation and steam . The trips and fuses used to pop for a pastime and you could always smell the old sparkie coming to reset and repair before you saw him due to the mist of wd40 he used to work in as he squirted it all over the place . (h&s would shut it down today but no one ever died to my knowledge)

Wish people would stick to using it to displace water rather disolving expensive plastics with it!

it is very good for removing tar though, spray a little on a clean cloth and wipes right off, best done before washing the car and a good wash\polish afterwards

Very true and removing that and other sticky stuff is about all I use it for since seeing the light. The PTFE sprays, like TF2, are much better for what most people use WD40 to do.

Keeps plastic covers in engine bay shiny for long time.
