What AMG 19" wheels are forged?

Hi All

I'm still quietly looking for a new set of wheels for my E55.

I think I want to go to 19" rather than 18" and therefore would like something that is lighter in weight to negate the gain when increasing size. To keep the car looking relatively original I was looking at AMG's but cant find any info on relative weights of wheel types and which if any are forged. Looking at alloy wheels direct they list various wheels that fit my car and these style iv ones are much more expensive than the rest (other than split rims) so I'm thinking they are probably forged!? Does anyone know?

Im not in the market for a £5K set of wheels but never know some may come up second hand if I know what I'm actually looking for.

Does anyone out there know relative wheel weights?

There are obviously other forged alternative but again all seem to be big £££'s

I'm in the same predicament as you Simon. I have the standard 18 "AMG wheels as fitted to the E55 but really would like the 19"AMG 1V 2 piece split rims, but cannot justify spending over £5k on rims alone.

Hopefully eBay will throw up a decent set someday at an affordable price.

There was a fully refurbed set of those on eBay about a week ago, sold for £1320.00 as I was watching them. I think another member on here bought them. They are nice looking wheels, have a look at pics of Alps' car. I reckon they would prob be quite heavy though. Ideally I want something lighter in weight.
