Here's a list of engine mount parts and under "Footnotes" it states "Except model year 801" or "Except model year 802".

Where do I check to see if my W221 is "model year 801" or "model year 802"? Thanks.

My chassis number is A448318 so I assume it's Model year 802 but was just interested to see where this could be checked - it's not on the Oasis report.

Model Year 801 should equal Model Year 2011, and 802 is MY 2012. The Model Year usually changes over the annual factory holiday (July-ish), unless there is a significant model change away from that time. So cars built up to June/July 2011 would be MY 2011, and those built from August 2011 would be MY2012.

Here's a link to a Mercedes document (about something unrelated):

Many thanks for the info!
