Other = Polished rim with stock color powder coated center.
Gives a more "period" look and will compliment the body color.

Is there a site or programme i can change the colour of my wheels to see what they would look like before i get them done...

Hello

what was the plate.

If your handy at photoshop take a picture of the car side ways on and mess about with different wheel colours..

I agree with the polished rim, only trouble then is making sure those kerbs don't jump out...

Stock or stock/polished rim.
I think German cars look very odd if not pretty stock.
Colin.

Do you mean original?.....there Carlsson 18" but i think the wheels are original at the moment with a power coated finish.... but i think a polished look might look quite cool...!!!

Glad you decided to keep it! If you are talking about a diamond cut lip they are a nightmare if you get a stone chip or kerb them, as soon as the laquer has been damaged water gets under the suface and starts to corrode the alloy. I got so fed up with having mine refurbed I have gone for a sparkle paint finish on the E55 which looks great. The OZ wheels on my SL have a painted centre (anthracite colour), they are similar in design to your Carlssons, take a look at my album. I actually like your wheels the way they are with your colour car.

Do them brilliant silver and get brand new centre caps.

Rare Rims | Rota Wheels UK

You can go to the "virtual fitting bay" and upoad a pic of your can and change the wheels....

yeh like that - have asked if I can buy it :)

The plate???? do a better deal if you were interested as dont have to go through reg transfers site so can save on there fee they add on...

I think black face with a polished lip would look good.

Other than that I like dark grey metallic finishes.

The car's pearl grey right? Same as mine.

My wheels are (AMG) body coloured all over and a refurb is on my to-do list.

I think I want to do mine either stock or body coloured with painted (or powder) chrome effect rims to give a bit of a polished look but better wear resistance.

Actually, I don't even know if that effect is possible/practical to do but I'll check it out nearer the time.

Black or Anthracite Face with polished lip.

Having my Brabus 500E split rims done at the moment..

Sounds nice.....i think a black face would look quite cool....may give one a quick spray before they go to be done and see what they look like.

Do it Dan, Ians mate had his R32 wheels done at the place you are talking of and they done a good job!
