What I.Pod/MP3 adaptor

I am looking to buy a F.M. I.Pod adaptor for my car, what do you find has been a good choice?

I have a 230 SL500 and dont want to change the whole unit or spend £100s, just the easy option.

Most of them are pretty rubbish quality to be honest, even the more decent Itrip ones. I would try and see if you can get a direct input into your headunit via an Auxilliary cable, which will be worlds apart in sounds quality.

I bought a cheap Kenwood with Ipod adapter built in and have been very happy with the quality, it was only £80 ( as its not the latest model anymore) and was easy to fit and just routed the Ipod cable into the glove box.
