It was model year dependent I believe... Mine was a 60 plate and the lower power. It was the following MY that had extra gruntage.

Interesting question really. If you find out it's only 231bhp will that taint the experience...or if it's the 265bhp will that improve it?

In other words...it probably doesn't matter...because you can't tell the difference.

I would like to know as thinking about a remap if it is already 265bhp I don't think I will bother

If that is so it might be worth having a bit more BHP as mine is a 59 plate

Put the REG into mycarcheck iPhone app. Tells you the horsepower that is recorded against that vehicle.

Look at your tax (disc as it used to be or online). The 265bhp has lower tax.
