Iron fallout, had exactly the same problem with mine. Took mine back to Mercedes complaining of rust 
Just had a full exterior valet completed on mine to remove it all, jay the valeter said it was quite heavy but only charged £30.
That included full iron fallout spray down, snow foam, full clay & then a coating of ceramic crystal coating wax. Cars like new now.
