Whilst having a rummage under the floor of my new (to me) W211 I found these items and cant work out what they are. Bear with me as it's pitch dark outsdie and freezing so I haven't spent any time in the car seeing what they could fit but nothing springs to mind.

The first thing looks like it could maybe be pedal related, maybe a pedal extension, or maybe something for scraping mud off the bottom of your shoe? Hehehe, both guesses are probably way off the mark! It folds up and lies flat but doesn't seem to be designed to fit where I found it, which was in a polystyrene recess to the rear of where the jack is stored (oh and does anyone know what's supposed to be stored in there?). It's definately a mercedes part.

The second item looks like a cover of some sort with a spring loaded hatch. Maybe ashtray related? Doesn't smell of smoke nor has it any marks. It is missing two of the locating clips but I have no idea what it's for, nor why the hatch/flap thing would have a split cut in it. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light? Thanks for reading.

Hello

The first one I think should be with the Jack its a wheel chuck... I think...

The second does look like part of the ash tray inners that has been removed..

Hahaha, wheels chocks! Of course! Cheers for that. Should I have just to one or do they come in pairs? the recess it was in looks like it could take two.

Top one is a wheel chock for sure - but I don't recognise the bottom one and it is certainly not a wheel chock.

As a guess, could the second one be a trim piece from around the boot lock on the rear panel :dk:

the second one is the surround around the latch on the bottom of the boot aperture, they always fall off.

... off to rummage around the floor of mine! ;-)
