what the hell is that knocking noise!!!!!

I've got a knocking noise coming from the front passenger side suspension area. Had all the bearings and joints looked at (kwik fit put it on a ramp that jiggled the car about) to no avail. Also I've had the drop links checked and they seem fine.
You know what its like once you hear that little noise its all you bloody hear and its driving me around the bend!
Any advice would be appreciated

I don't recommend Kwik Fit. They are awful.

They tried to adjust my camber on my Audi A6, I didn't ask them to, and they split both CV boots. Which I didn't notice until they'd run dry and ****ed. Either that, or they did it on purpose as they didn't disclose it to me. Just told me after they'd done my tyres that it would benefit from 4 wheel alignment, but it'd have to be done by the main dealer.

I normally wouldn't have gone to Kwik-Fit, but I was desperate. Just been pulled over by the Police with some illegal tyres.

So... I'd get it checked out elsewhere.
