What is the difference between a C180K and a C200K. . . thay are both 1.8's

sTeVe

C200 is 1998 cc

I used to have a 2002 manual C200K Avantgarde. It was 1998cc and 163bhp IIRC.

It's all change. The current C180K is a 1600!! And there is no C200K.

Good old marketing, can't beat it.......

It was easier when they were straight 6's a 320 was a 3.2 and interestingly when they went to the newer V6 with Euro 4 the emissions crept up and MPG went down.

My E320 at 183 Co2 costs less to tax than the wife's 1.9 Diesel Zafira.

Power went up, as did refinement. I've seen 46mpg out of my V6 CDi already!! Its not costing much more to fuel than my 220cdi!!!

Maybe, I was going by the printed figures, power went up to take into account the Euro4 spec which were all about emissions and you end up with higher Co2 and less (quoted) MPG. I often hit 44/45 on the 35 mile run to work even with A/C on with speeds up to 80

V6 engine in tax band J straight 6 in tax band I, mine cheaper.....lol :bannana:

My 2007 Euro 4 V6 CDI emits 244 g/km CO2, but only costs £200 a year in road tax :thumb:

Like to know the trick to that because even on last years figures a 244 co2 car should have been £405 and this year is £425.

Does it have a side car or three wheels.......:D

Nope, despite having 6 seats it's classed as a "Light Goods Vehicle" :bannana:

6 seats Hmmmmm, now there's a plan before the next tax is due.

I've just sold my MGB GT, that was a pre-72 and I loved the free tax every year, it was the everyday car for nearly a year.
