A recent thread prompted me to ask, what's your latest, greatest app?

The first app I can remember being truly impressed by, is still the one which blows my socks off: Word Lens, which is now integrated into Google Translate, quite literally translates text in real time using your smartphone's video camera. Mind blowing!

Quest Visual ? Google Quest Visual

The two apps I've downloaded most recently both offer cashless payment for Pay & Display parking: ParkMobile and RingGo. Simple, and brilliant!

Pay by Phone Parking from Parkmobile in the UK - United Kingdom.

I use Around Me a fair bit when in unfamiliar towns and need to eat/drink.

No doubt some old grunter will be along soon to say that they prefer to carry the Yellow Pages. :D

Parkmobile is great...no more fines.

Google remote desktop - allows you to control your Windows/Mac via your mobile or tablet.

Funny to see a windows desktop on your phone screen + its free!

Truecaller. When you receive unknown calls it has the number stored on their database and displays it before you answer it. If they don't have the number on their database then Truecaller will quickly Google it and display who is calling. Saved me lots of time avoiding unwanted sales calls etc.
