Is there a knack to removing a wheel cap ?
I'm having a bit of difficulty.
I've seen a clip on youtube with a guy using a what looks like a scraper to prise off the cap but I'm having no joy with that method.

Also, is there a dealer out there that sells single replacement caps (instead of a pack of 4) ?

Take the wheel off and push it through, replace the wheel and when you source a new badge just push it in place. Or try cleaning the old one and supergluing something on it to enable you to pull it off without damaging the wheel, (not your hand though LOL)

There's a couple of options here, the best one having already been given by Eddie which is to take the wheel off and push it through.

However, for the terminally lazy (and I include myself in this generalisation) you *may* be able to do it using a decent strong tape, by sticking it on something like this: - _II_ where the two horizontal pieces stick to the cap, and the two vertical pieces (basically one really as it's just the tape stuck to itself) form a handle which you should be able to use to pull them away.

Another way, if you don't want/need the old caps is to just ram a small pointy thing through them and lever them out, though this may possibly damage the wheel.

As for buying one, they're less than a tenner for four on the bay...

I replaced the caps on the SL the other week and as the old ones were poor condition, I used the cordless screwdriver to drive a large screw in and pliers to pull the cap out.

Just stab a screwdriver through it and prize it out, takes 5 seconds.
