Wheel Dilemma

Sorry to bump this thread, but did you manage to get the chrome star caps fitted ?

Ive got them sat in the bag they were delivered in.
They are ready to go on but not got round to fitting them yet due to the lovely summer weather we are having:o

Are you gonna lower your car then?

Nope.
With the state of the local roads I wont lower it.
It’s my everyday driver & I use it to ferry a disabled family member around so it’s not practical to lower it.
My quantum sits very low & there are some local roads that are no go areas due to the local authorities obsession with speed humps/pillows & traffic calming.

I dont wish to put a dampener on things but i think the elegance alloys looked better, especially as you are not lowering the car.

The arch gap isn't as bad as the photo shows it.
The wheels had only just been fitted so the suspension hadn't settled.
If I hadn't found some alloy wheels I liked I was going to put steel wheels with trims on as I hate the elegance alloys with a passion.

A combination of a few things (wheels, interior colour) nearly put me off buying the car.
I'm really glad it didn't as the car is easily the best car I've owned for a while.

The interior colour has grown on me & seems bigger & airier inside than the c200 sport I owned before it due to being light coloured.:D

fair enough mate! i think the elgance alloys actually look quite "elegant"
