Apologies if anyone tried to enquire about the amg wheels for sale I posted apparently I cannot allowed as I have not made 30 posts. As a SL55 owner and others being Mercedes owners I thought this group was about helping each other obviously I was mistaken.

No doubt this post will be deleted and I will possibly be barred for not knowing.


If that's the case so be it, seems to have so odd rules and I don't know who dreamed up 30 posts bizarre

Hi , I suppose the 30 post rule was applied to stop people putting parts up for sale and then vanishing.

I've been a member for months and find the group useful, just frustrating when you try and genuinely offer something for sale to also save other members money to have it removed because you don't have 30 posts.

Further to my message which I directly sent you, the rules are displayed throughout the forum. its to stop people signing up, never using the forum apart from to flog items.

Yes you have been a member for 5 months, in which time you have only posted a handful of times when you got the car, but havent contributed anything since. - Its a 2 way street, the forum is free for members to share knowledge and help, not just as a free advertising platform.

What help have you offered other members we could ask?

It wont take you long to share knowledge with the other members im sure Will you still post on here once the wheels are sold?

Of course I will still post I plan on keeping my SL55 you will not knownibhave spent £14k putting it right and still doing bits. I have not posted much too helpnothers as I haven't gathered the knowledge yet only owning it just over 5 months. The wheels are only for sale as I changed them due to having 100mm spacers on the rear which was one of the issues
