Just had a Corgi gas man out today for a new Hob. Excellent service and came out same day. Fitted Hob in 1.5hrs and charged a nominal 46 quid. Good chap and knows his stuff...does boilers, plumbing etc.

British Gas are a rip off...i had the service contract on a wall heater and inset fire....they serviced it but wouldn't replace even if i bought the new one they would charge 100 plus for fitting. I paid 60 quid per item p annum for contract and yet they found a way out.

So me calls this dude who fitted the gas fire for 50 quid took him 2 hrs....great chap and he does certification for properties as well now..... Its always good to know someone who can fix things for you........saves you the hassle and time.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for the kind words.

We have just come back from a nice break in 'cold' Lincolnshire.

Not only did we have a 90th birthday party for my very nice mother-in-law, I also won a bout of gout..... Poetic or what?

Not bad for a non drinking, plain eating whoozzz.

The E-class has also received its SBC recall and 'other' updates. It al sounds interesting but will not be done until the 17th.
