Which brakes do i have?

Can anyone advise how to tell which brakes a 2004 S211 320cdi would have.
Just been looking up a replacement set and have seen several references to bosch, Brembo, ATE and all sorts of sizes. It seems its a little more complicated to select than i thought. So how can i tell what system is fitted? I know the SBC is Bosch so will tha mean the rest is?

I'm pretty sure ATE are the discs OEM for MB.

No idea they were replaced accoring to the history about 30k ago by a non mb garage
I am going to change the lot anywY as i want to start from a known new set

Go into the dealer and get original. Failing that page from euro are fine also.

I'd go oem, like I said i am pretty sure they are manufactured by ATE. I agree, brakes are fairly important unless your Fred flintstone!

If they stock them for your car, the ATE pads and drilled-discs from Eurocarparts are excellent.

However, be prepared for much frustration and swearing removing the pins from the brembo calipers. 3 out of the 4 were not re-usable on mine, after removal, and 1 of those took ages to remove. You'll need a good long hardened steel punch and I'd also buy some more OE pins from your local dealer - the Pagid pins sold by ECP bore no relation at all to those pins fitted to my brembo calipers!
