White seems very "in"

White on a premium car always seemed the basic option as a solid colour it was generally a no cost option. However as most things fashions come and go and white is the new black / silver :)

and then something thats always cool in white :) :)

Too true:D

I've just ordered a white car, first time! Ordered two weeks ago and get it in about two months when it has been built and delivered! Not an MB, I know, but I did look at a CLC Class in white, but they are just too expensive for what they are.

It's the same as this!

Peter, How dare you:ban: You are not the first on the forum to go this way though. We will all look forward to your reports.

Stay  in white.

I read somewhere a few years ago that white cars are generally involved in less accidents than cars in darker colours. It was something to do with the way light is reflected off the paintwork, it gave the appearance that the car is bigger than it actually is and therefore other drivers would give more clearance when passing.:)

I heard that green car are the most likley to have accidents, some thing about blending in and green fields

I had a white car and was a pain to keep clean but once it was clean was gleaming like a gem. I was always told white cars are harder to sell as it puts off potential buyers because its hard to keep white and clean

I read somewhere, white is the most eco unfriendly colour as it used loads of titanium dioxide..

It's just fashion, I had a white Montego, well white and rust...

White and black are buggers to keep clean

My only white car to date was a Maestro with hardly any rust. Actually a much better car than the Mk3 escort which followed it... I don't recall it being a bugger to clean. But then I don't remember cleaning it at all.

We're having a white C180K Executive SE delivered to work soon for one of our managers.
